From a technical point of view, Ceremonial Cacao must meet certain requirements, such as that it is organically, minimally processed and from the highest quality Criollo or Trinitario beans. Criollo and Trinitario grains have the highest concentration of nutrients, as well as components that affect mood, consciousness and connection to the heart (theobromine, serotonin, proanthocyanin, anandamine, methylxanthines, tryptophan).

Basic recipe for making CeremonialCacao:

30-40 grams of MoMaCo Cacao
240-300 ml of water or plant-based milk (we recommend almond milk)

*the less liquid you add, the thicker the Cacao will be.
*If desired, you can add some natural sweeteners - agave syrup, honey, date paste, coconut sweetener, and for extra character add a little cinnamon, cayenne pepper, ginger, nutmeg or cardamom and vanilla.

The ceremonial dose of Cacao is somewhere between 30-40 g. For all those who encounter Ceremonial Cacao for the first time, we advise you to start at the lower limit and see what effect it has on you.

You can feel the effect of Cacao after about 15 minutes and it can last for 2-4 hours.

For some people, drinking Cacao prevents them from falling asleep in the evening, as it energizes them and lifts their mood, while others focus on it and sink into a deep and peaceful sleep.

If you are taking antidepressants, medicines for increased blood pressure or have a more serious form of cardiovascular disease, please consult your personal doctor before consuming Ceremonial Cacao. Ceremonial Cacao contains tryptophan and MAO inhibitors, which can easily affect the functioning of serotonin and cause some contraindications when combined with medications. Cacao is also a vasodilator, which can reduce blood pressure and thereby dilate blood vessels, which can affect the effect of blood pressure medications.

For now, MoMaCo Ceremonial Cacao can be purchased only online.
